CrewPost is a B2B SaaS platform designed for airline operators and their crew. We take the privacy of your data seriously and collect only what is necessary to operate the service.

CrewPost is developed and operated by Fahad Ali Juma, based in Zanzibar, Tanzania. CrewPost provides a two-app crew management platform for regional airlines — a management app for operations managers and a pilot app for crew members.

We collect the following information when you use CrewPost:

  • Account information — full name, email address, employee ID, mobile number, and role
  • Authentication data — email and password managed securely via Firebase Authentication
  • Flight data — flight schedules, status updates, timestamps logged by crew during operations
  • Technical log entries — aircraft maintenance reports submitted by crew
  • Pilot records — license numbers, ratings, medical certificate expiry dates
  • Device information — device type and operating system for app compatibility purposes

We use the information collected solely to:

  • Provide and operate the CrewPost service for your airline
  • Enable crew scheduling, flight tracking, and operations management
  • Send account approval and notification emails to crew members
  • Maintain flight and maintenance records for your airline
  • Improve the reliability and performance of the app

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in the Africa South (Johannesburg) region. Firebase provides industry-standard security including encryption at rest and in transit.

Each airline client has a dedicated Firebase project — your data is completely isolated from other airline clients and is never shared between them.

Access to data is controlled by Firebase Authentication and role-based permissions. Only approved and authenticated users can access the system.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your airline's license with CrewPost is active. Upon termination of service, data can be exported upon request and will be deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Flight records and technical log entries are retained for operational and regulatory compliance purposes during the active service period.

6. Third-Party Services

CrewPost uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Google Firebase — authentication, database, and cloud functions (Google LLC)
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications to crew devices

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com.

7. Your Rights

As a user of CrewPost you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object to processing of your personal data

8. Children's Privacy

CrewPost is a professional B2B platform intended for use by airline employees aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.

Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using CrewPost you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CrewPost mobile and desktop applications ("Service"), operated by Fahad Ali Juma ("Developer", "we", "us").

By accessing or using CrewPost, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CrewPost is a crew management platform for regional airlines consisting of:

  • CrewPost Management — an iPad, macOS, and web application for operations managers to schedule flights, manage crew, and monitor operations
  • CrewPost Pilot — an iPhone application for crew members (pilots, cabin crew, dispatch, engineers, drivers) to view schedules, log flight status, and manage records

3. Licensing & Access

CrewPost is licensed to airline operators on a per-organization basis. Access is granted through a setup agreement and monthly license fee as agreed between the Developer and the airline operator.

Each airline receives a dedicated instance of the platform. Access credentials are managed by the airline's operations manager and must not be shared outside the organization.

The Developer retains full ownership of the CrewPost software, source code, and intellectual property at all times.

4. User Accounts

Crew members must be registered and approved by their airline's operations manager to access CrewPost. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying your operations manager immediately of any unauthorized access

The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CrewPost only for its intended purpose of airline crew management. You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Input false, misleading, or inaccurate operational data
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy any part of the software

6. Operational Responsibility

CrewPost is a management and communication tool. The airline operator and its licensed crew members are solely responsible for:

  • All operational decisions made using information from the platform
  • Compliance with local and international aviation regulations (TCAA, ICAO, etc.)
  • The accuracy of data entered into the system
  • Flight safety decisions — CrewPost does not replace official aviation systems

The Developer is not liable for any operational, safety, or regulatory outcomes arising from the use of CrewPost.

7. Availability & Support

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in CrewPost — including the software, design, branding, and documentation — are owned exclusively by Fahad Ali Juma. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you or your organization.

Your airline's operational data (flight records, crew data, tech logs) remains the property of your organization and can be exported upon request.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

  • Access to the platform will be revoked
  • Your data will be available for export for 30 days
  • Data will be permanently deleted after the export period

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of CrewPost, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or operational disruptions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Zanzibar, Tanzania.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email to registered operators. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
